I'd rather them sprinkle in more "core content" than some of the low quality things they have added these seasons. It feels like they can't do what they did this year again, due to the increasingly hostile feedback. This is the biggest question on what can they do. A lot of the game needs to TLC but it feels like they haven't even mentioned that there are issues with it right now.
Give me a good playlist where I can just mindlessly grind strikes and get rewarded for it. All the strike loot was moved to the Nightfall and it really doesn't feel the same. Currently in D2 there is very little reason to actually do them other than the weekly Powerful reward.
I used to love grinding the strike playlist for shit like the Imago Loop in D1. Strikes are still usually my favorite content to run in Destiny but the reward system for them is still incredibly lacking. The story should continue on in a logical manner afterwards, using strikes and the raid to continue and build off the story. After beating the new campaign, also hoping we have a Taken War equivalent from Taken King. Bungie wouldn't spend the last 1.5 years teasing them, saying they are currently in our solar system, showing them getting closer and closer, without using them soon right? The game could definitely use a new enemy race. This season barely feels like it's actually about us destroying the Almighty, it all feels like "oh shit they really are coming." At first I didn't think they would introduce them in Destiny 2 and would save it for a Destiny 3 but at this point, I don't know how they can't introduce them to the game. Considering the way the story season by season is going, I don't see how we can't finally confront the new Darkness race.
